“The Staff.  If I had to sum up the very best, most exceptional attribute of Lochhaven and The Court at Lochhaven in two words, it would be the staff. The peace of mind afforded to family member of Lochhaven residents, knowing that a loved one is receiving the very best care and attention is immeasurable. The staff not only sees to everyday basic needs of residents, they also bring joy and laughter into their daily lives as well as making sure residents have ancillary services.

A unique aspect of the entire Lima Convalescent campus is that services for every level of care from independent living to full skilled nursing home care all available in one place. When looking for a home for my mom, the availability of those comprehensive services was a deciding factor. So while she began residency in an independent living apartment, she was able to easily transition to The Court assisted living apartment where she could access more daily meals and additional help.

Beyond what the Lochhaven staff does for residents, they are incredibly sensitive to the needs and concerns of family members. They reach out to family, keeping us in the loop about care, activities and general well-being of our loved one. My mom loved the Lochhaven staff and we loved them for all that they did our mom.”

“Having Mom at Lochhaven is such a relief and comfort for both her and our family. We know she is getting loving care by the nursing staff. She enjoys being able to watch mass via live streaming during these quarantine times, and she is able to get the social interaction with her peers that she absolutely needs. Mom has been at LH for over a year, and both she and I are very happy with the choice she made.”
